Carnaval
On Friday and Saturday 2 major things happened and I'm going to tell you about them!!!
Friday the 14th of March we dressed up for school. I had to dress up as a Roman and Esther had to dress up as a Carthaginian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then we went to school and at like 12:30 the whole school got into a line and we all walked around the town with our costumes on!!! It was really fun there was music and heaps of people watching us and Muma and Dadda were there to!!! Lots of people had instruments like whistles, drums and kazoos. Unfortunately my carnaval whistle broke before the parade :(
Did you think that was all carnaval was? Nope!
On Saturday the 15th of March at like 5:00pm, we put on a fancy dress and went the town square:|
And when we got there . . . There were heaps of people dressed up, really loud music and stores selling beers, lollies, balloons, spray shaving cream stuff and lots of other things! We danced a LOT and got drinks. It was really really fun and I loved it.
We didn't stay the whole time but we didn't get home for dinner until 9pm!!! It was a crazy evening and I could hear the party in the night.
word of the week Fiesta= party

Tomorrow is April, which seems to have arrived amazingly fast to me. Mind you it also feels like an eternity since you left in the last days of 2024.
