Fun stuff
This week we went for 3 swims (one of them was my first swim in Spain!). I had so much fun playing in the water with our new wetsuits. The water was beautiful.
This week we also went to Tarifa the closest town in Spain to Africa! You can even see and catch a ferry to Africa. In Tarifa we also went up this castle! I quite liked it there with the sun shining on it.
On Wednesday we went to see our new school! There were 2 separate buildings; I was in one and Esther was in another. We looked at which class room I could be in first! There were 2 class rooms I could be in one with a boy teacher and one with a girl teacher. I liked the look of both of them! Next we looked at Esther's. They knew which class Esther would be in because there was a year 2 class with a Australian teacher! I like the school. We should start there in the next week or so!
We also got a surfboard for €125 it was blue and could hardly fit in our car! We called it Marina Bob Wade Holmstrom
The last thing we did (that was a highlight) was go to Bolonia. There we saw ancient roman ruins and went to this beach with massive sand dunes! And to a place were they make cheese called a quesoria the we even saw some goats! It was really really fun! After the quesoria we went up this really big hill to look for vultures. There were some really fun rocks to climb there! I loved it.
Word of the post is playa which means beach!
The end.
Such beautiful photos! The weather looks amazing! What did you think of the cheese? I assume it was goat cheese?
ReplyDeleteHello Astrid,
ReplyDeleteGreat news that you had a look at your potential classrooms and you liked both the teachers.
I wrote a reply to Essie just before but somehow the whole message disappeared.
Anyway back here our house is still looking for a new family to love it. The boys are still in Burpengary with Grandma’s sister and grandma and I are camping (sort of) in the house. It is all very boring but the house has to be good and shiny so that potential buyers like it.
This year is going by really quickly on one hand but it does seem a long time ago that we said goodbye at the Taste!!
Have fun at school, I bet your Spanish will be very good very soon!!
Lots of love grandma and me.
Maybe this one will publish 🤨
More beautiful photos Astrid! It looks like your adventure is as exciting as ever. Glad you've managed to have some swims now. the beaches look so beautiful! Those goats look so cute! Your girls are doing really well, although I think they ate too much yesterday. They were looking at some yummy food and seemed very frustrated that they couldn't fit anymore in :) I hear you're off to Portugal next week. It will be great to visit yet another country and catch up with Auntie Pet again! Hope you have a great time. Lots of love Nana and Farber xx
ReplyDeleteHi Astrid those wings really suit you.🤣
